I was given a Lego set for my birthday. This in itself is splendid and worthy of further discussion. Perhaps another time. Naturally I wanted to make it an epic project, but not too epic that it couldn’t be done. It hit me (not literally) that I could take a picture of every piece as it went on, string the photos together and make a video of the whole project.
Well, it seemed like a good idea at the time. Then again, so did those large digital signs they place on the highway. They employ people to maintain these and choose the messages to display for some reason. I guess it is because they are some form of early warning system.
This sign is in Nudgee.
It seemed like a good idea at the time.
What about the storm shelters in North Queensland. The government built the community centres to double as storm shelters in case a cyclone comes through. Sounds like a good idea, except they built most of them as category three and four shelters. Cyclones can come in fives so when Cyclone Yasi came to visit everyone freaked out. It seemed like a good idea at the time.
Not putting a calculator on the ipad 2?
Booking flights that leave from a city two hours away on Christmas day because they were cheaper?
Well, the lego seemed like a good idea too. I’m certain the video will look fantastic but I’m up to 500 photographs so far and I’m only half way through the first of three instruction manuals.
